Lord Milori appears and instructs Peri on how to fix her wings. After a while, Tink then notices Peri's wings wilting the machine is running out of ice. She meets Tink's friends and continues her tour. Now able to keep her cold enough, Peri crosses the border to the warm side of Pixie Hollow. The next day, Tink arrives at the border with Bobble and Clank, pulling along a snow-maker. When Tink arrives home, she asks Clank and Bobble for help, and they bring her other friends to help. When they reach the border, Peri and Tink pretend to hug goodbye but Tink whispers to Peri to meet her at the border tomorrow. After being reassured by the sisters that they are ok, Dewey tells them that the Winter Woods are too dangerous for a warm fairy and that Tink has to go home. Just before they hit the ground however, Dewey’s snow lynx, Fiona, catches them. Periwinkle grabs Tink’s wrist and struggles to pull her up. Periwinkle quickly rushes to Tinkerbell’s aid as Tink cannot fly due to her wings being tucked into her coat to protect them from freezing. Suddenly, the floor melts beneath them before crumbling completely. That night at Peri's home, as Tink builds a fire, she realizes that if she can make it warm there, she can, in turn, make it cooler at her home. Realising her book has been flung from her bag, she tries to get it back. The owl then accidentally drops the basket, and she crashes down onto the ice. She gets picked up by a novice owl and makes her way across the border. Wrapping herself in a warm winter coat and tucking her wings inside it, Tink uses the final shipment as her only chance, she sneaks into the workshop and climbs inside one of the baskets.
